SoundWall security advice
Batteries are used safely in millions of devices every day. However, there are some risks associated with carriers of such high energy, of which the user should be aware.
Our rechargeable batteries are certified according to the European standard (CE certification) according to EU regulation 765/2008, so that the product meets the applicable requirements.
Rechargeable batteries can pose a fire hazard under certain circumstances. Although our rechargeable batteries contain protection mechanisms for overcharge, undercharge, overvoltage, undervoltage and short circuit, the following precautions are nevertheless relevant.
It is important to keep the following points in mind when using your SoundWall:
|→||Charge your SoundWall only with the supplied charging cable
If the charging cable no longer works, we will replace it. Please contact us.
|→||Do not use your SoundWall in a humid environment
Like a bathroom, for example.
|→||Do not use your SoundWall if it has experienced a severe shock.
For example, if it fell on the floor.
|→||Load your SoundWall at least once a year
Batteries discharge themselves up to 4% per month, even when your SoundWall is turned off.
If the battery has not been charged for too long, it will automatically switch to a safety mode and can no longer be used (broken).
|→||ALWAYS stay close to your SoundWall during charging
This also applies to your other battery-powered devices, such as your smartphone.
